  • Five men will start the match

  • Every three minutes another five men enter the bout

  • Lucky Number 21 will enter last

The winner of the Casino Battle Royale will earn a future AEW World Title shot.

Confirmed entrants:  18 confirmed - 3 more

  • Brandon Cutler

  • Glacier

  • Sonny Kiss

  • Ace Romero

  • Sunny Daze

  • Brian Pillman Jr.

  • MJF

  • Joey Janela

  • Dustin Thomas

  • Billy Gunn

  • Jimmy Havoc

  • Michael Nakazawa

  • Jungle Boy

  • Luchasaurus

  • Isiah Kassidy

  • Marq Quen

  • Shawn Spears

  • Orange Cassidy

Unless there is a major name that surprises us on the pre-show, I’m leaning towards Joey Janela.

Prediction: Joey Janela

Sammy Guevara vs. Kip Sabian (The Buy In):

Kip was originally set for the Casino Battle Royale, but this should be an excellent pre-show matches to get viewers pumped.

If you’re unfamiliar with both men, allow me to briefly introduce them.

Superbad Kip Sabian was previously trained by Paige’s family (The Knights) and he has mostly made a name for himself around the UK competing in various indie promotions such as World Association Of Wrestling, Southside Wrestling Entertainment and World of Sport.

At 27 years old, he possesses plenty of potential and continues to improve. Particularly over the past two years, he has clearly grown a lot more comfortable as a performer.

Sammy Guevara started to make a name for himself in Mexico but quickly started getting booked in American promotions such as MLW, PWG,Evolve and recently on Season 4 of Lucha Underground in 2018. I was first introduced to him back in 2017 with a great match against Ricochet.

As a character, Sammy is merely 25, but has practically nailed down the art of the arrogant heel.

At a similar age, size and skill, these two will surely put on a clinic.

Prediction: Sammy Guevara (They will look to push him as one of their major heels)

Double or Nothing Main Card

Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki & Emi Sakura vs. Hikaru Shida, Riho & Ryo Mizunami

6 of the women in AEW receive a well deserved spotlight in this match as each of them are fierce, well-skilled and experienced.

Aja Kong is perhaps the most well-known of the bunch as she has spent a substantial amount of time in Japan with promotions such as  All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling among others. She even had a short-lived rivalry against Alundra Blayze in the WWF back in 1995

Prediction: Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki & Emi Sakura

Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Beretta)  vs. Angelico & Jack Evans

Best Friends have been teaming together since 2013 in PWG. They also found himself in ROH and most recently, New Japan. Both Chuck and Trent have been active in wrestling since the mid-2000s and really started to gel as a team as their singles careers were somewhat stagnant.

Much like several wrestlers on the card, Angelico recently competed for Lucha Underground, AAA. At one point, NXT was reportedly interested in him. At 6’3’’ he’s deceptively tall for many of the high flying moves he executes.

Jack Evans has been a long-time ring veteran debuting in 2000. Since then, he’s been a bit of a journeyman competing in dozens of promotions including ROH, Dragon Cate, Lucha Underground and the short-lived Wrestling Society X. With his unique style that involves breakdancing, he’s one of the most experience high-flyers.

What can we expect? A quick pace from Angelico & Jack Evans with Best Friends looking keep them grounded.

Prediction: Best Friends (The more established team who could easily challenge the Young Bucks or the Lucha Bros down the line)

SoCal Uncensored (Daniels, Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kaz)  vs. CIMA, T-Hawk & El Lindaman:

All Elite Wrestling has partnered with Oriental Wrestling Entertainment of China and this match will showcase three of their talents. If you’ve never seen or heard of OWE, I would almost compare it to the Cirque du Soleil version of pro-wrestling. It’s extremely unique and fast-paced.

CIMA is best known for his work in Dragon Gate.

Daniels and Kaz have been teaming together since TNA with Sky joining the duo in 2018.

Prediction: SoCal Uncensored

Dr. Britt Baker vs. Kylie Rae vs. Nyla Rose

Britt Baker is the girlfriend of Adam Cole and is likely best known for her match against Madison Rayne, Chelsea Green and Tessa Blanchard at All In last September. While her overall win-loss record isn’t particularly impressive, Britt continues to improve at a rapid rate and has gained a ton of experience over the past two years.

Kylie Rae is widely considered to be the indie version of Bayley that features her outgoing and cheerful personality. She’s an excellent babyface who effectively sells and makes a believable comeback. A very bright future!

Nyla Rose made some waves as she became the first transgender woman to compete for a major wrestling promotion. Her size and strength can be an imposing threat to any competitor.

Prediction: Britt Baker (I really see AEW pushing her to be the face of their Women’s division)

Dustin Rhodes vs Cody Rhodes (Brother vs Brother - Old School vs New School)

This was the match 5 years in the making with the proper build and story to feature it on a major stage.

With Cody Rhodes establishing himself as one of the biggest outside of WWE, Dustin Rhodes is here to crush Cody’s ego and humble The American Nightmare.

In turn, Cody believes a victory over Dustin carries more weight than we could ever imagine. It’s not just the end of the Natural, but also a bullet in the head of the Attitude Era.

In terms of impeccable storytelling, these two have arguably generated the most interest on the card and deservingly so.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes

Hangman Page vs TBD

Possibilities: Jon Moxley, KENTA?

AAA World Tag Team Championship -- The Young Bucks (c) vs. The Lucha Bros.

The Young Bucks are not only on a mission to provide that tag-team wrestling is alive and well, but it can also be the main event.

A few months after this match was made, The Young Bucks unexpectedly defeated the Lucha Bros to claim the AAA World Tag Team Championship in Mexico. To say the crowd was stunned, would be a gross understatement.

If you’re not familiar with Pentagon Jr and Fenix, they are brothers who have competed in MLW, AAA and Impact Wrestling. As singles competitors, they are also highly decorated.

These are two of the very best teams in the world and this will be my pick for Match of the Night.

Prediction: The Young Bucks retain

Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho

Alpha vs. Omega Part II, the long-awaited sequel to their 5-star match at Wrestle Kingdom 12.

Physically, Jericho appeared to be in the best shape in years. The mix of MMA has completely transformed his body and allowed him to gain muscle.

Despite losing the NJPW Heavyweight Championship in January, Kenny Omega remains arguably the best wrestler on the planet today.

Prediction: Chris Jericho (Somehow gets the win back and sets up the trilogy)
