Tommaso Ciampa Responds to Randy Orton's "Leg Slapping" Tweet

A few hours following the conclusion of NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Randy Orton wrote the following related leg slapping during the event. “Leg slapping” is referencing the method in which many wrestlers generate noise while executing a striking maneuver.

In response, Tommaso Ciampa took aim at Randy Orton referenced the methodological pacing of his matches.

This isn’t the first time Randy Orton has criticized a specific style as he took aim at independent wrestlers as featured in this 2017 rant from his Twitter account.

Whether Randy Orton merely intended this be a jovial tweet or it was purposely meant to light a fire under NXT wrestlers, he’s no stranger to speaking his mind. It remains to be seen if this exchange will lead to a storyline between the two or if this was simply a one-off.
