Tony Khan's Media Scrum Post AEW Revolution

AEW

Here are some takeaways from Tony Khan’s media scrum:

  • He felt that the AEW Revolution PPV was a great show from top to bottom

  • Dynamite has gotten better since the team re-focused over the holidays (Tony still has the final say on all ideas and has started saying no more often)

  • AEW Dynamite will remain on Wednesday’s and never compete with MNF

  • PPV’s will remain on Saturday’s

  • AEW Dynamite will likely never air overseas since he loves the live aspect, but a PPV could

  • Colt Cobana is signed to AEW which means he could contribute in a number of ways

  • Negotiations continue with Jeff Cobb

  • Approved of Cody’s tattoo stating it's his body

  • He doesn’t mind some of his wrestlers performing in NJPW, but it’s not a two-way street since NJPW doesn’t reach out to him

  • Tony is not opposed to more partnerships similar to AAA and MLW

  • He’s a big fan of Lance Archer’s work and happy to have signed him

  • Feels that Hangman has seized an opportunity in 2020

  • Jericho was the right Champion to help steer the company and there was never any doubt he would defeat Hangman at All Out in 2019
