WWE Clash of Champions Review:

  • The Fiend attacking Seth Rollins was a very impactful way to conclude the show. WWE is wise to strike while the iron is hot by leading to that feud.

  • Braun Strowman continues to wilt under pressure by losing another big match. He's losing a lot of momentum.

  • Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks was really damn good. It's great to have Sasha Banks back on a full-time basis. She possesses undeniable star power and is capable of delivering a really good match on any given night.

  • Luke Harper is far too talented to be sitting on the sidelines, so it's great to see him reunited with Erick Rowan

  • The crowd was flat for Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton as it was very misplaced on the card.

  • AJ Styles should never appear on a kick-off match. His match with Cedric deserved an extra 5 minutes but was still fun.

  • I would be much more interested in Nakamura vs Ali. A damn shame the feud was dropped without any explanation. By the way, Sami Zayn is incredibly entertaining in the role of a manager where he commentates with a live microphone.

  • The Women's Tag-Team Title match was far better than I expected. Alexa Bliss continues to follow the career advice of the Big Show as she's assuming the role of a babyface this evening. Tomorrow, she will promptly return to playing a heel.

  • Bayley retaining was the right move and her method to victory by cheating adds further layers to her character.

  • So, does this mean the Revival will now move over to Smackdown full-time? One would assume so. I enjoyed the way Dawson mercilessly targeted the injured knee of Xavier Woods and forced him to tap out.

  • I'm thrilled that Roode and Ziggler will receive a run with the Raw Tag-Team Championship. Both once again relevant and given a featured spotlight.

  • I'm happy that the Cruiserweights will be featured under the NXT banner and no longer relegated to every kickoff show.

Match of the Night: Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks

    Grade: B
